Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the generous portion sizes, making it a fantastic value for dining out. Many highlight the quality and freshness of the fish, particularly the cod, which boasts a crispy batter cooked to perfection. Customers enjoy the casual atmosphere that is both friendly and relaxed. Many appreciate the outdoor seating area, which allows for a pleasant dining experience by the dock.

Some diners are drawn to the diverse menu options, including a tasty kids' menu that makes it a family-friendly choice. The house-made mushy peas and curry sauce provide a traditional touch that resonates with local tastes. Lastly, the quick service and the ability to dine while gazing at the picturesque dock make this place even more appealing.

Most Disliked

A few diners mention the presence of pigeons hovering around the outdoor tables, which can detract from the dining experience outside. While most reviews show appreciation for the food, some visitors express disappointment with specific side options like mushy peas or curry sauce, which didn’t meet their expectations. Additional complaints arise concerning the seating area, with some suggesting it could be improved for a more comfortable dining experience. Occasionally, quick turnover can mean the ambiance lacks a bit of the charm one might seek while enjoying a leisurely meal. Overall, while the majority of experiences are positive, these are some areas where customers see room for improvement.
